Beloved, we’ve been prayerfully exploring as your intercessors your present circumstances spiritually, economically, socially and even politically, seeking to know how the landscape of these days are impacting your life. As we have been praying and recognizing the spiritual warfare aspect of our rapidly changing times, we were led by the Lord to be more aware of the guidance He is and has been sending you daily, His Daily Bread to you, since this is something we seek from Him for you, according to Matthew 6, “give us this day our daily bread”. We have been compelled to be more aggressive in covering what you are receiving from G-d to protect these treasured Seed Words and Holy Impressions you have been getting from Him because they are your Holy Sustenance from Him. Possible Swords of the Spirit if your battle is heating up, or the very Words that G-d will marinate within your heart until they are so fully digested within and come forth soaked in the power of faith and are used to create your destiny via Holy Decree. You can see how right now these Seed Words and Holy Impressions He has been sending you are the very Hinge Pins that open your gateway to G-d’s next step upon The Ancient Paths and Sacred Passages that He is ushering you on to. And as your intercessors we felt we needed to touch base with you to capture your attention and draw you into a new level of mindfulness concerning what G-d has been sending, and to protect these Life Giving Gifts because we are not unaware of the schemes of the enemy to cause you to be too busy, too rushed, and somehow miss G-d’s best for you.
It started as we were praying that you would slow down your pace, so that you could actually listen with the ears of your spirit to any sermon you are drawing from. Listening for what the Holy Spirit was giving you specifically, even if it wasn’t a part of the Sermon, but perhaps a rabbit trail of spontaneous thoughts from G-d, that were flowing off the Sermon. Perhaps listening with your spiritual ears to a friend and attentive to what the Holy Spirit was prompting you with, as far as a Holy Impression you might be receiving. Awareness is key right now. It’s so important that you were becoming very aware that there was something G-d was telling you through your various encounters. Knowing that He is faithful to give you what you need through any avenue He desires or any avenues that are available to Him to do so. At this point in our unfolding prayer for you we were aware of Matt 4:15 TPT “and what seed falls on the beaten path represents those who hear the Word, but immediately Satan appears and snatches it from their hearts”.
This of course caused us to be alerted to shift our prayer for you to cover these sacred Seed Words and Holy Impressions that G-d is sending realizing that the enemy comes to steal and destroy these vitally important Life Giving Words to you.
Through our prayer time, we have been very taken by Mary the mother of Jesus who seemed to capture this concept and truly utilized it to the max!
Luke 1:26-29 (AMPC) Now in the sixth month [after that], the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a town of Galilee named Nazareth,To a girl never having been married and a virgin engaged to be married to a man whose name was Joseph, a descendant of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary. And he came to her and said, Hail, O favored one [endued with grace]! The Lord is with you! Blessed (favored of God) are you before all other women! But when she saw him, she was greatly troubled and disturbed and confused at what he said and kept revolving in her mind what such a greeting might mean.
A little further on in Luke 1:36-38 (AMPC) (The Angel continues) And listen! Your relative Elizabeth in her old age has also conceived a son, and this is now the sixth month with her who was called barren. For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment. (This is a fabulous scripture to add to all your scripture meditations and declarations)
Then Mary said, Behold, I am the handmaiden of the Lord; let it be done to me according to what you have said. And the angel left her.
Permission Granted. Lets be as Mary was, declaring that our permission is granted also, that we too are welcoming the Word of G-d to be done in our lives!
Elizabeth also affirmed Mary, with adding wisdom to her: saying in Luke 1:45 (AMPC) And blessed (happy, to be envied) is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of the things that were spoken to her from the Lord.
The beauty of the support of wise family and friends who affirm the work of G-d in our lives!
At this point Mary and Elizabeth launch into the Purest Worship and the Speaking forth, declaring, they become lost in the wonder of G-d…we would be wise to do the same…
Luke 2:19 (AMPC) But Mary was keeping within herself all these things (sayings), weighing and pondering them in her heart.
Luke 2:51 (AMPC) He (Jesus at age 12) went down with them and came to Nazareth and was obedient to them; and his mother kept and closely and persistently guarded all these things in her heart.
(I added the Bold emphasis for focus)…
Mary proved she had the right mindset on how to embrace the Word of G-d. Submitting to it inwardly and outwardly, even laying her life on the line for it with Joseph and with the community at large with her reputation. Her humility brought G-d’s Grace, even risking being stoned to death for being pregnant out of wedlock, her faith filled sacrifice which always releases Heavens Blessing even today. Mary took the Words that to someone lesser might have lost by someone who was caught up in the emotional moment, but Mary quickly hides them away in her heart from the enemy…counts them as Holy Treasures…and soaks in them…which is truly amazing!
We would do well to follow Mary’s example, to treasure the Seed Words G-d sends and the Holy Impressions that are given to us. Knowing they are Words and Impressions that will Light our path in dark places. Write them down quickly, hold them fast, give them the honor and value they deserve, they are from G-d to us, and use them in our personal times of Worship, when we are led to make declarations and as swords of the Spirit if need be.
We were also aware of the warfare that you have been facing, whether that has been discouragement, oppression, confusion or anxieties. We were reminded that Jesus said “it is written” when in the conflict with the devil in the wilderness. The devil tempted, tested and tried Jesus Matt 4:1-10, when Jesus was in a weakened state from fasting; yet Jesus used the Word as a Sword of the Spirit. Eph 6:10-18 Beloved have you been fasting? Have you been tried and tested with insomnia? Whatever the deprivations that have been created around you of late, be aware the enemy will use these times to try and discourage you. Pull out a Pocket Promise Book or your personal list of promises from G-d that you use to decree over yourself in times of warfare…and withstand the enemy out loud with “It is Written”.
Beloved lets embrace that something is required from us when we are given this Sacred Bread, these Seed Words and Holy Impressions. As we prayed we were reminded of Matthew 13:12-14 (AMP) For whoever has [spiritual wisdom because he is receptive to God’s word], to him more will be given, and he will be richly and abundantly supplied; but whoever does not have [spiritual wisdom because he has devalued God’s word], even what he has will be taken away from him.
This is attitude driven. We need to hold all we are given from the Lord as Sacred Gifts, humbled and so deeply grateful. To tremble again at receiving from G-d any manna from Heaven. He deserves the richness of our appreciation and our trembling.
We’ve quoted several times that we live by every word that proceeds from the Mouth of G-d from Matt 4:4, aware that now as spiritual Beings there is no leaning on sense and reason which Romans 8:6 (AMPC) says Now the mind of the flesh [which is sense and reason without the Holy Spirit] is death [death that comprises all the miseries arising from sin, both here and hereafter]. But the mind of the [Holy] Spirit is life and [soul] peace [both now and forever].
And Prov 3:5-7 Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; reverently fear and worship the Lord and turn [entirely] away from evil.
Our own understanding is so very limited, it can not be trusted. Our only course is dependence upon revelation and inspiration. Which is how we were originally wired by G-d to operate since Adam.
Ps 107:20 He sent His Word and healed them and rescued them from their destruction.
In closing, lets remember: The Last Word you receive from the Lord is the most important Word you possess, like a sword tossed to you just before a battle.
Jesus’ last words to His disciples the night before His crucifixion are still some of the most powerful Words we have today (John chapters 13 – 17)….so hold tightly to any Word that you receive from Him today.
