Having Done All…Stand!

Beloved, as we were praying for you, knowing that the warfare has been so intense and so many are so weary from it all…We were reminded of an excellent statement:

If this is our greatest test, let it be our finest hour!

We were drawn to pray over you to receive the revelation of the armor of G-d, when this passage leapt out. It’s Eph 6:13 (ampc)

Therefore put on God’s complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place].  (Tess emphasis).

We were made aware that this passage is key for you right now. As we prayed for you we sensed that you have done all that you know to do, and were feeling desperate at times through this season. But as this passage says:  Having done all that the crisis demands, then, stand firmly in your place. Grab a hold of this revelation:  you have done all, and what is required today is to stand firmly in your place.  Meaning the answer hasn’t arrived yet, the battle is still evident…but you are being told…stand firmly in your place…do not lose your hard-earned ground.

Do not listen to the negative thoughts in your mind: “this isn’t working, I must be doing something wrong or it would work, I’d see the manifestation if it was really working”…etc….No, No, No, that’s the enemy trying to get you to leave your post!  Why?  Because you may not realize it, but you have championed your territory in the spiritual realm, the plot of ground that is the platform for the next chapter of the Glory of the Lord being revealed in and through your life and the enemy knows it, or why would he be working so hard to pelt your mind with defeating thoughts??!! Do not give him that sacred ground that you have warred for!  Do not back down from your reward, your destiny!

But know this, you have done all that the crisis demands and there comes a point where G-d is saying He knows you have done all you can do…now stand still and see the salvation of your Lord. The Battle belongs to the Lord. The Glory belongs to the Lord… but He needs you to not quit, do not walk away. What is key now is meditating on the Armor of G-d, armor that you have already been given as a follower of Christ.  Putting it on daily renews our minds to what we have in Christ.  And this repetition deepens its reality and deepens your faith to stand while we await the fulness of the Promise of G-d manifesting in your life.

As we prayed through this passage there was a gap, where you have done all that the crisis demanded and now a time of standing before the manifestation of answered prayer. So the warfare seems as if it is still evident, though you have done all. This gap seems to make for a vulnerable spot. Much like Mark 11:24  where we are told to believe we have received (past tense), and it will be done for us. A period of waiting in faith until the answer manifests. And Phil. 4: 4-8 where we are told to pray our prayers, think on the good report, and pray until peace comes. And that Peace is to garrison our hearts and minds in Christ until the answered prayer appears.  It’s that “turnaround time” for any project that is in the works.  While we await the answer to prayer we are to stand strong, immovable and not back down.

In 1 Cor. 10:13, in the midst of temptation we are told He will make a way of escape so we can stand up under it, growing stronger in faith, but also waiting for the manifestation of the way of escape. That always bothered me.  I don’t want to stand up under anything. I want to be air-lifted out of this warfare. I want to be rescued. I want Love to leave the 99 sheep and come and find me, because I feel lost and alone in the midst of all this warfare. When the battle rages and the missiles are flying, the battlefield becomes a spiritual foggy mess, a spiritual blizzard white out, spiritual snow squalls so thick you can’t see the ground at your feet. And all we can do in the beauty of our brokenness is to cry out for G-d to save us…and He will. But what we still need, what we are still lacking is something essential for our journey forward.

We need more revelation that we are not those without authority or power that radiates from the spoken Name of Jesus the Victorious.  We have been given delegated authority to use His Name when we are sent on His behalf.  To speak to the enemy, to the storm, the Word of G-d, as Jesus fought against the enemy in His wilderness experience with “It Is Written!”  In this hour G-d is raising up sanctified warriors especially equipped to steward these last days.  Raised up for such a time as this. We need to build our faith in this statement that the Apostle Peter spoke to the crippled man in Acts 3:6 (ampc)

But Peter said, Silver and gold (money) I do not have; but what I do have, that I give to you: in [the use of] the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk! (Tess emphasis)

Meditate repeatedly on this passage…You have been given the use of the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth! Possess what has been given to you. Rekindle the awe and wonder of the absolute POWER of the Name of Jesus!! Break through the limiting mindset the enemy has tried to veil our minds with.

Also the passage from Eph 6:13 says: Therefore put on God’s complete armor, that you may be able…

What enables us? The complete armor of G-d.  This enables us to resist the enemy and to stand our ground in the midst of the raging storm and declare that we will not back down.  We will not lose heart.  We will not give up, nor quit.  We know this may be the greatest battle of our lives, but we are committed to seeing the Glory of our G-d in the land of the living.  Like Jacob who wrestled with the angel (Gen 32:24-32), we will not let go until we are blessed by G-d; until G-d speaks His blessing of a new identity deep within our Being and we experience Him, His Presence on a whole new level!

And through it we will be changed more into the likeness of Christ. Like Jacob who walked away from his encounter with the angel of G-d with a limp, we too will walk all our days differently after we have prevailed against and are declared the victor over this warfare, by the Lord!  We are being told at this point that we have done all. Now we are to stand. To stand and resist we need to meditate, envision the Truths contained in each piece of the armor of G-d.  For this I’ve included Eph 6: 10 – 18 from the Passion Translation
