As we were praying for you, it felt clear that many things have been pulling at your heart. There has been a lot to carry…emotionally, spiritually, and mentally. So much responsibility, so many decisions, and a deep weariness that comes from trying to hold everything together at once.
What we sensed in prayer was God’s desire to bring clarity, to quiet the noise so you could hear His voice again.
Following God Into Unfamiliar Territory
The first scripture that came strongly was from Joshua 3:4–5:
“When you see the covenant chest of God, your God, carried by the Levitical priests, start moving—follow it. Make sure you keep a proper distance between you and it… You’ll see clearly the route to take, because you’ve never been on this road before.”
There was something deeply important in that phrase, you’ve never been on this road before.
The days ahead are not a continuation of the past. The way God is leading now requires attentiveness, reverence, and clarity. Following Him means keeping a holy awareness of His presence, walking with the fear of the Lord…not fear as dread, but awe, reverence, and wisdom.
That reverence creates clarity. When we keep the proper distance, when we don’t rush ahead or blur the line between our will and His, we begin to see the path more clearly.
God Goes Ahead of You
The next scripture that surfaced was Joshua 24:12–15, where God reminds His people:
“I sent the hornet ahead of you… I handed you a land for which you did not work, towns you did not build… Now fear God. Worship Him in total commitment.”
This was a strong reminder. God has already gone ahead of you. He has already worked in places you haven’t seen yet. Some of what you will step into will not be the result of your striving but of His faithfulness.
But there is also a choice here. A clear, decisive one.
Joshua says, “Choose today whom you will serve.” These are not lukewarm days. Half-hearted devotion is dangerous now, not because God is harsh, but because the days require precision.

These Days Require Obedience, Not Just Knowledge
Another scripture that came strongly was James 1:22:
“Be doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.”
It is possible to know the Word and still be deceived if we are not living it. These are days when merely hearing is not enough. Living the teachings of Jesus, love, forgiveness, humility, and obedience, keeps us aligned with God’s protection and grace.
This isn’t about perfection. It’s about sincerity. About choosing to walk in truth and love consistently.
Being Led by the Spirit
We were also drawn to Romans 8:14:
“For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God.”
These are days that require spiritual sensitivity. Being led by the Spirit is no longer optional, it is essential. You may feel this in your spirit already. A sense that the old rhythms no longer work. That distraction is costly. That lukewarmness dulls discernment.
If you’re struggling to hear God’s voice, don’t isolate yourself. Seek help. Reach out to leadership. Ask for prayer. Press in rather than pulling away.
The Safest Posture Is Love and Gratitude
What felt clearest in prayer was this, love and gratitude are your safest posture right now.
Loving God fully. Loving others sincerely. Remaining grateful, vocal in thanksgiving, aware of God’s goodness. Gratitude keeps the heart soft and attentive. Love keeps you protected.
These days call for passion, not frenzy, but devotion. A cleansing of the palate from the noise of the world. A return to worship, reverence, and daily obedience.
You don’t need to announce who you are. The anointing on your life will speak for itself. Love will permeate everything you touch. God will use it to soften hearts and break burdens around you.
Cling to the Lord
These days are different. You can feel it.
Cling to God. Stay in step with Him. Stay in agreement with Him. Walk closely, listen carefully, and live what you believe.
Know this…you are not alone. We are praying for you. And God is already ahead of you, preparing the way.
