Eph 6:10 Now my beloved ones, I have saved these most important truths for last: Be supernaturally infused with strength through your life-union with the Lord Jesus. Stand victorious with the force of his explosive power flowing in and through you.
11 Put on God’s complete set of armor provided for us, so that you will be protected as you fight against the evil strategies of the accuser!
12 Your hand-to-hand combat is not with human beings, but with the highest principalities and authorities operating in rebellion under the heavenly realms. For they are a powerful class of demon-gods and evil spirits that hold this dark world in bondage.
13 Because of this, you must wear all the armor that God provides so you’re protected as you confront the slanderer, for you are destined for all things and will rise victorious.
14 Put on truth as a belt to strengthen you to stand in triumph. Put on holiness as the protective armor that covers your heart.
15 Stand on your feet alert, then you’ll always be ready to share the blessings of peace.
16 In every battle, take faith as your wrap-around shield, for it is able to extinguish the blazing arrows coming at you from the evil one!
17–18 Embrace the power of salvation’s full deliverance, like a helmet to protect your thoughts from lies. And take the mighty razor-sharp Spirit-sword of the spoken word of God. Pray passionately in the Spirit, as you constantly intercede with every form of prayer at all times. Pray the blessings of God upon all his believers.
Can we withstand the enemy without putting on
the Armor of G-d Daily?
The scripture says, “Therefore put on God’s complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger],”
We are now new creations in Christ Jesus. We are now a new species of Being. We are Spiritual Beings and we continue to exist, live and move forward by living exactly what the Word of G-d tells us to be, do and say. The Word is our sustenance, our food for living. We are foreigners here. We use supernatural weapons in order to be victorious. This armor is not optional. We actually need to renew our minds and put on the armor daily and remember its covering when the heat of the warfare intensifies; as when the negative thoughts, emotions or people who come to discourage us. When the thoughts and circumstances try to weaken our stand of faith and block our manifesting our victories. Remember what Neil Anderson said in The Bondage Breaker, page 22, “Freedom from spiritual conflicts and bondage is not a power encounter; it’s a truth encounter.”
We walk in Love, Truth, forgiveness, humility, grace and mercy to one and all. We represent Christ now, as He represented the Father to us.
G-d is speaking to our hearts…
It’s time to suit up!
Put on Christ, robe yourself in the virtues of G-d our Father (Col.3:12-17).
Meditate on the Fruit of the Holy Spirit and soak your heart in the images of responding to your life circumstances with each of the fruit, or the piece of Fruit that fits your present situation (Gal 5:22-23).
We want to daily utilize our meditation time to cover 3 areas: the Armor of G-d, which is already ours in Christ. We are just renewing our minds to the blessings Jesus has given to us.
Likewise, the Fruit of the Holy Spirit within us. We are bringing the reality of the Fruit forward to our minds, deepening our belief in the Presence of His Fruit within us.
And being clothed in Christ likeness. Even melting all three together in one beautiful image so that we can daily and quickly refresh ourselves in our identity in Christ.
