This morning, as we prayed for you, a strong theme surfaced again and again…stress.
Not ordinary busyness, but that deeper kind of stress that settles in when you feel threatened, pressured, or unsure whether to fight or run.
Stress is the body’s survival response.
It’s chemical.
It’s hormonal.
It’s automatic.
But spiritually, it’s often rooted in fear, and fear almost always grows from a false belief.
The Question Beneath the Stress
As we prayed, one question rose clearly.
What do you feel you need to fight for right now?
What do you feel you need to run from?
Is it work?
A relationship?
A situation that feels unstable or unsafe?
When fear takes hold, the body reacts before the heart can remember truth. That’s why God didn’t leave us without an antidote.
Faith Is the Antidote to Fear
God created only one force powerful enough to neutralize fear and that force is faith.
Not blind optimism.
Not denial.
But faith rooted in love.
Scripture tells us that perfect love casts out fear. When fear remains, it doesn’t mean you’ve failed; it simply means love hasn’t yet been fully received or trusted in that place.
So we prayed first for this
That you would know, deeply, personally, without question, that God loves you.

You Are Not the Exception
Sometimes fear whispers a quiet lie
God loves everyone… except me.
But that lie collapses under truth.
You are not overlooked.
You are not forgotten.
You are not outside God’s care.
You are the apple of His eye.
He knows you by name.
He knows every detail of your life, not because He has nothing else to do, but because He is intimately involved.
Peace begins when that truth settles into the heart.
Abiding Is the Way Back to Peace
As we prayed, our hearts were drawn repeatedly to John 15.
Jesus says it again and again
Abide in Me.
Abide in My word.
Abiding isn’t striving.
It’s staying connected.
It’s sharing your burdens instead of carrying them alone.
It’s resting instead of panicking.
It’s trusting instead of bracing for impact.
When you abide, fear loses its grip because love begins to flow again.
When the Flow Feels Blocked
We sensed something important
Sometimes stress isn’t about external pressure.
Sometimes it’s about an internal blockage.
Like a kink in a garden hose, something small can restrict the flow of love, peace, and joy.
So we invite you into a quiet moment.
Sit still.
Even for a minute.
Ask gently
Is there anything in my life right now that is grieving Your heart?
Not with condemnation.
With openness.
Confession restores flow.
Forgiveness restores flow.
Letting go restores flow.
Peace Returns When Love Is Allowed to Flow
When the blockage clears, love flows again.
When love flows, fear dissolves.
When fear dissolves, stress loosens its grip.
You don’t need to panic at work.
God will give you wisdom if you ask.
You don’t need to strive at home.
Love rooted in selflessness brings healing.
The truth is simple and powerful
You are not alone.
You are deeply loved.
And you are being watched over with care.
We are praying for you.
