Beloved, as we were praying, two Scriptures rose immediately and carried great weight.
The Lord can save by many or by few.
— 1 Samuel 14:6
Do not be afraid, for those who are with you are more than those who are with them.
— 2 Kings 6:16
These words were not abstract. They were specific. They spoke directly into a situation involving debt, not only financial, but emotional and spiritual as well.
Releasing What Is Owed
There was a clear sense that someone owes you a debt. On the surface, it may be financial. But underneath it runs deeper, into worth, value, provision, and justice.
As we prayed, it felt as though you were already responding in your heart. You were saying:
- I release this person from what they owe me.
- I forgive them and I forgive myself.
- God, You are my source.
And in that moment, something shifted.
The energy changed.
The flow realigned.
Peace returned.
God Is Your Source, Not People
One of the strongest impressions during prayer was this: do not continue to see this person as someone who owes you.
Not because what happened didn’t matter.
Not because the loss wasn’t real.
But because God has taken the debt onto Himself.
When we fixate on people as our source, we unknowingly bind our peace to them. But when we transfer that expectation back to God, freedom returns 🌱.
Let that person simply be a person again.
Let God be your provider.

Open to Unexpected and Unlimited Good
There was a phrase that kept repeating in prayer, be open to unexpected and unlimited good.
That phrase carried power.
It felt like chains breaking.
A yoke lifting.
A heaviness falling away.
When you take your eyes off people and circumstances and return them to God, your mind settles. Peace flows back in. Clarity returns.
People and situations are temporary. God is eternal.
Your Destiny Is Still Intact
This word came through clearly, your destiny has not been damaged.
God uses many avenues to provide for His children. When we focus on one person or one outcome, we limit our vision. But when we trust God as our source, opportunities expand.
There are many ways He can restore what was lost.
Be open.
Be expectant.
Be receptive.
Speaking to the Roots
As prayer deepened, one verse stood out sharply:
They saw the fig tree withered from the roots.
— Mark 11:20
This wasn’t about the surface. It was about ancient roots.
There was a sense that beneath this present-day debt lies something older, deep-seated beliefs tied to worth, value, and love. A deprivation that began long ago. A sense that something essential was owed to you and never given.
Those roots were being addressed.
In prayer, we spoke to them…to wither and die in Jesus’ name.
Forgiving What Was Never Given
This kind of forgiveness is sacred. It is not denial. It is release.
It means:
- Forgiving those who could not give what they did not have
- Releasing the expectation that the past can repay you
- Choosing God as your sustenance instead
When those ancient roots are healed, provision flows freely again.
Walking in Freedom
This is an invitation to walk forward lighter than you’ve been in a long time.
Man is not your source.
God is your source.
And He is more than enough.
We are praying for you, beloved.
