To begin, I just want to be deeply transparent about how this word came to me…When I was in prayer just for myself I started to hear this word…but I pulled back. Because I felt that I was too much in the throes of my own painful journey to get a word. How would I know if I wasn’t tainting the word?
Adding to it, subtracting from it because I didn’t want more challenging “words”…So I stopped and told the Lord that I didn’t feel I could get a word purely from Him right now…but if He wanted I would do whatever He desired…just surrendered my fears to Him and asked for the Fear of the Lord to be on me…and I waited to hear His heart…The next thing I heard was:
Tess, just Trust Me…
So I started to pray for you beloved…and as I prayed, especially as we are moving into a new year…I felt the number of the year was strategic in G-d’s eyes…G-d in His great love for us is always communicating. I was oddly focused on how beautiful the sequence of the number of the year flowed, 2024, which seemed like Divine Fluidity….then I noticed the numbers totaled to the number 8, and in the bible that marks new beginnings.
At first, I was thinking is that just what I wanted or needed to hear in my own life right now…New Beginning so I continued to pray for transparency with the Lord…But as I prayed the words “New Beginning”, it felt oddly expansive, filled with Life, Breath, Spirit…it was Him and not the tiniest of my own heart wanting to hear something of hope…no this was Him…and it was for all of us who would mix the Word with Faith…
Heb 4:2 For indeed we have had the glad tidings [Gospel of God] proclaimed to us just as truly as they [the Israelites of old did when the good news of deliverance from bondage came to them]; but the message they heard did not benefit them, because it was not mixed with faith (with [ a]the leaning of the entire personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness) by those who heard it; [ b]neither were they united in faith with the ones [Joshua and Caleb] who heard (did believe).
There was such a strong awareness that the year 2023 was a year of Testing. Purifying of faith through the heavenly fire…and we know that faith is heaven’s currency. It’s how we exchange what Heaven has promised by the currency called faith….But faith that creates the exchange has to be single-focused. Strong, confident even bold…As it says in the Word, “Without faith, we just cannot please G-d”. But also we can’t expect to receive anything from Him without a singleness of focused faith according to James 1:6-8
I felt repeatedly through this past year being drawn to 1 Peter 1:6, 7 where it says trials and suffering purify and strengthen what? Faith. Which is More Precious than earthly Gold but we use it the same way, but through heaven and based on Promises G-d made.
I sensed that I had never really appreciated the quality, or lack of excellence of the strength of my faith until we hit 2023.
Now that we are entering 2024 my prayer of course has been for everyone to be able to enter into the blessings that G-d’s Promises offer each of us. So as I prayed I sensed the word “Promotion”.
You’ve been faithful beloved with the lil and now you are being given more….
A strong awareness that foundations are everything. You can’t build on a faulty foundation.
2023 the temptation was to not press into our time with G-d because He seemed He wasn’t there as He had been before. There seemed to be no echo of love…the place of intimacy seemed vacant, empty, cold, and lonely…technically, in all truth that isn’t reality but between the enemy whispering doubts and our flesh being worn out from the battle…I could hear the statement “Why bother if G-d isn’t speaking?”
But because we held our foundation of meeting with G-d daily. Despite the emptiness, we were being given a double portion of our time with G-d. Intimacy, anointing that is breaking the yoke off of areas of our lives we didn’t believe we’d ever see freedom in…
Remember 1 Peter 5:7 says to cast your care on Him for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully…we cast all our cares on Him then shift our focus to thinking on, meditating on how greatly he loves us and cares for us…think of His affection…Think about His watchfulness over your life. You are the apple of His eye, He counts every hair on your head. You are worth more to Him than many, many sparrows, though He cares for them continually.
I cannot stress enough that keeping your time with G-d is #1 non-negotiable. And keeping love between you and Him as your source of true, living, sustenance. Make it your priority to think about how greatly He loves you.
Things will move quickly in 2024 and the enemy will desire to detour you…so you need to be very tight with the Lord…Josh 3:4 says to keep your eyes on the Presence of the Lord and flow closely behind Him. You will want to be more sensitive to the check in your spirit…that lack of Peace…Discerning which way the Lord is going in order to follow only Him. So Slow down each morning in the Presence of G-d so that you are aware of the check in your spirit. Get centered on G-d, not the drama.
I saw that 2023 relationships were under fire from G-d. It was so hard to weed through the Lord’s purifying discipline. Hebrews 12 and the flesh that reared up and the enemy trying to sow discouragement and hopelessness…
But it looked like as we prayed that the storm of 2023 was breaking up and the fog of confusion was lifting. And the sun was breaking through to a new beginning. You’ve weathered the storm you held the ground. You’ve been the warrior. Now it’s time to enter into
Beloved you are so different now. But also you need to disengage the fight, flight, stress reaction that the battle had triggered…Now is the time of Peace, wisdom, and reflection to utilize all that was revealed the spoils of war, that were given through warfare. Be intentional about dialing down frow from the battle mindset…start perceiving yourself as at peace, protected, the battle has ended. The spoils need to be collected. I saw you as Sage-like full of heavenly wisdom, filled with peace. Refined, matured…The war is over and now it is time to flow in the authority that has been given to you. The anointing and the love…to be without fear.
Be confident in G-ds Presence and His leading. We can only do what He is doing. Be tight with Him and keep your eyes on Him. For many 2023 challenged relationships. There was a vacuum as it were, an emptiness, in relationships in order to reveal our hearts. See Duet 8. There was the flesh, that needed to be crucified there was the enemy. Baiting us to take things into our own hands. To fix, figure out, force it…manipulate and force things to happen instead of trusting and surrendering to G-d and letting the mess reveal our hearts and purify our motives.
As I prayed though, I saw G-d healing relationships in 2024. Our hearts have been exposed to the fire of G-d and humility was beckoning His Grace which He delights to pour out upon us. Unmerited favor and blessings. Unmeritied. So stay humble. He is doing it, not us. Let Him. Don’t help try to help Him. Just believe Him. Just trust Him. Keep talking with the Lord about it all.
Forgiving ourselves is KEY right now. Compassion towards ourselves. To love ourselves so we can truly love others. Truly if you can’t love and forgive yourself, you can’t love and forgive others.
Let G-d come in and heal your heart. Give you a fresh vision for 2024.
There is a knowing that a fresh vision for 2024 will be blocked by self-hatred. Self-loathing. Unforgiveness, unworthiness towards ourselves and others. If anything negative about yourself, talk to G-d about it and then let it go.
2024 isn’t going to flow without love. Love is the Core of all because G-d is love. You can’t hate yourself carry regrets, or be filled with guilt. Think you are a loser. And believe that the flow of the Holy Spirit can pour through you unhindered as a vessel. Remember Amos 3:3 – how can 2 walk together unless they are in agreement? The Holy Spirit doesn’t agree and won’t agree with your negative beliefs about yourself. It’s oil and water…So renounce the lies and anything that isn’t love, forgiveness, or anything to do with fear. Fear hinders faith’s strength. And faith needs to be strong, convinced, and single-focused in order to manifest. The holy spirit will agree with you when you confess the word. When you speak who you are in Christ, the Holy Spirit will agree with you. He will witness that to your spirit that this is Truth. It will energize you. Speak the lies of the enemy and the holy spirit will have none of it.
Think about how Jesus didn’t doubt the Father, nor should you.
I heard “What’s the next step?” That will be revealed to you when you let your heart love and forgive yourself. To Block love and you block G-d. Who is love. Also, the warfare hyper-alert nature of 2023 needs to be healed. You are loved. You are safe. Your heart’s desire will be met as you relax in His love. I know the traumas of 2023 need to be healed. The threat needs to be responded to in love and assurance of G-ds protection. Some things we need to surrender to God in faith. Phil 4:4-9 The peace that baffles comes through surrendering our understanding. Truly letting go and there are things we may never be able to comprehend on this side of eternity. We need to let go and let Peace take the place of “Why did that happen?”
Be transparent with the Father about the journey, go through each memory of this past year, and infuse it with love and forgiveness. The traumas or the out-of-control events. G-d desires that you know that He is working all things together for your good. He seemed to be stressing this and stressing: “He’s not done yet”. He simply isn’t done yet. Don’t judge your future by what you have been through…He’s not done yet. Listen for His heart.
Isaiah 41:1 G-d says “Listen to the Silence before Me. Read all of Isa 41: slowly prayerfully, talking with the Holy Spirit as you read each line and ask questions. Go slowly and listen to your spirit as you read…awareness will come. Insights will be given. Wisdom will be imported when you read any of the Word. Slowly, prayerfully talk with the Holy Spirit. He is our Teacher and guide. John16: 12-4; John 14:26; 1 John 2:27
2024 will be a fruitful year because you’ve gone through the pruning. There’s been fertilizer nurtured into your hearts and soul. You are ready to be fruitful now.
Look to 2024 as a New Beginning…new fruitfulness. A depth of maturity we haven’t manifested yet. There is radiant peace and the beauty of maturity. Relax into the flow of love, wisdom, and truth from heaven.
And know that we are praying for you…
